As we end the 23/24 season, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the many successes achieved by the incredible clubs within Yorkshire 💙🏆

Today we’re spotlighting Leeds Athletic Under 14’s: the Under 14s National Club Final Champions! 🌟

From their perspective, Leeds Athletic provide a run down of their exciting and emotional weekend:

🏐 Saturday started off with 2 morning games, both of which we took the win for.

Herts Dynamos - Win 29-14

Starz - Win 23-17

We re-grouped in the afternoon based on position finished. After a lunch break, we then took to court again for 2 further games which provided placement for Sunday matches🥇

Charnwood - Win 44-12

Oaksway - Win 31-15

🎉 By finishing top of the group, it meant we started Sunday playing for positions 1-6 and a new group. The girls ate, rested and were ready to face the final big day!! Our group consisted of Oldham and CD Phoenix.

Oldham - Win 28-21

CD Phoenix Win 32-16

🏆 We won the group and were then playing in the FINAL against KWP. This was always going to be challenging like every time we meet them. The girls were determined and ready to take to court! We never lost sight and kept the lead right until the final bell.

WIN 26-21 NATIONAL U14 CHAMPIONS 💪

Throughout the weekend the girls were amazing on and off court, drilled, composed and the Netball they played was phenomenal. They won every single game. They are not only teammates but good friends. Every girl on the bench supported the girls on court 1000%. Our very own fantastic GS Bella was awarded the MVP of the tournament. Her shooting was immense.
