National Schools competition
This national competition is organised by England Netball to encourage participation in Netball. It enables schools to compete against each other to determine a national winner in each age group.
The competition comprises of the following rounds (“Competition Rounds”) held at the following levels (in ascending order):
- County Rounds
- Regional Rounds
- National Finals
The winners and runners up of each competition round progress to the next level.
Regional Round of National Schools 2024
The regional round took place at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield in February 2024 with the following schools competing.

National Finals 2024
The National Schools Finals 2024 was the culmination of a competition that approximately 1,500 schools took part in this season.
To increase visibility and enhance the experience on and off the court, the competition was full of firsts:
- All the action was live streamed via englandnetball.tv
- A Gilbert Netball Player of the Tournament was named in each age group
- The Official Physiotherapy Partner of the event, provided each school with approved first aid kits as well as goodie bags for the winners
Get involved
The National Schools competition is an exclusive member benefit, meaning all entrants must join or renew their school’s membership before entering the competition.
To get your school involved:
Step 1: Check that you have paid your membership invoice. This is sent automatically, via email, to your school contact each year.
If you have not received the invoice, please contact England Netball to renew your secondary school membership.
Please include your school’s name and organisation reference / ID (if known). If not, please include your county.
Step 2: Contact your local County Netball Association to register your secondary school and enter the National Schools Competition – early rounds begin in September.
