After being crowned Regional Premier League Champions, DNC were proud to represent Yorkshire in the Premier League 3 Playoff's 💙💚🤍

The Premier League 3 Playoff's saw 12 teams from across the country compete for a spot in the Premier League 3 for the 24/25 season 🏐.

DNC provide us with a run down of the exhilarating and challenging weekend from their point of view

"DNC Netball were proud to represent Yorkshire Netball in the National Prem 3 Playoffs at EIS 20 & 21 April 2024 after finishing top of Yorkshire Prem.

It was 2 tough days of competition against the England Netball regional winners from the 9 other regions and the bottom 3 teams from Prem 3, all competing for 3 places in Prem 3 - we finished in the top half of the competition.

With 2 good wins on day 1 against East Midlands regional winners, Bridgford and Thoroughbreds, the team from Prem 3 in the bottom 3 from the season, we had a strong start to the competition.

On day 2, a draw against Swan Netball meant we came second in the division on goal average and faced a seasoned prem side for the final game. At our first attempt at National Prem Playoffs we got all the way through the 2 days to the final match.

We were disappointed not to take the final game win but we will come back determined to go again for 2024/25, with the benefit of experience behind us and a good support team ready for the season ahead.

Our target has always been to secure a spot in the National Premier League in 2025. We’ll be heading into Yorkshire Premier league again this season ready to compete to secure our place in the playoffs again."
