Netball 2024 rule changes
The new 2024 rule changes were applied across England from 1 September 2024. Any England Netball registered competitions across our region will be played under the new rules.
Yorkshire Netball encourage our incredible players, officials and volunteers across our region to understand and implement the 2024 rules changes.
There are a number of helpful resources created by England Netball Officiating and World Netball that you can access. This includes sessions that you can attend online where you can ask questions or seek clarification around the rules, and game and contact management.
You can also contact your local county umpiring lead to support any questions you may have.
Online sessions
There are Rules of Netball tutor led sessions available in September and October for those who require a certificate of attendance
5 September – 12.30 – 13.35
5 September – 19.30 – 20.35
3 October – 19.30 – 20.35
Contact and Game Management tutor led sessions are also planned if you require a certificate of attendance
24 September – 19.30 – 20.30
