Yorkshire Netball bursary update

We have decided to pause and reflect on our bursary scheme whilst we review and plan for next year

As we move into the second year of our bursary scheme, we have taken the decision to place the programme on hold whilst we take stock and carefully plan its next phase.

The bursary was launched to provide meaningful support to our members, and we are proud of the progress made so far. However, we also recognise that the needs of our community are evolving.

To make sure the scheme continues to have the greatest possible impact, we need to pause and reflect on where the demand is highest and where our support can make the most difference.

Over the coming months, we will be assessing:

• How the bursary has been used to date and the outcomes achieved.
• Where the greatest areas of need currently lie among our members.
• How we can best structure the scheme to maximise its reach and effectiveness.

The planning stage is an important step in ensuring the bursary remains relevant, impactful and aligned with our broader strategic goals. Our priority is to build a programme that reflects the realities faced by our members today and into the future.

We appreciate the patience and understanding of our members as we take the time to do this properly. Your feedback and experiences will play a vital role in shaping the next iteration of the scheme, and we will share updates on our progress.
